Quality nutrition is essential to support good ealth & wellbeing. A healthy diet is fundamental to achieving your fitness goals – and is often dismissed as unimportant. As part of my personal training programmes, I will work with you to provide nutritional advice that will help you work towards your goals, training schedule and lifestyle. I will help you to make changes to your diet without compromising the foods that you enjoy - after all this is about healthy eating and making changes that you can keep up long term not fad diets and strict regimes.
Maintaining a good diet is essential if you are concerned with weight loss and increased energy. Everything you put in your mouth makes up your body and what you can get out of it! Fill up on a diet comprising mainly of processed, high fat convenience foods and over time you will end up with a body that reflects that. Eat healthy, fresh, natural food with a sensible alcohol intake, and you will end up with a far more healthy body that both you and others will love.
A nutrition assessment involves you keeping a food diary either paper or on an app. For a while you record everything that you eat and drink. Using this information we analyse your food intake and draw up a plan to help you achieve your goals, making changes where necessary and helping you learn how to eat for life! There are no quick fixes.
To help clients make choices a shopping service is also available. I will go food shopping with you to help you choose healthier alternatives to the food you would normally eat.
